In The Astounding Wolf-Man, Art, Invincible's tailor, appeared, designing the title character's costume.Kirkman's Invincible is a very pedestrian take on the superhero genre, and both his plot and characters are rather generic and two-dimensional. Bulletproof: Initially turned down of membership in the Guardians of the Globe, Bulletproof did later join the team and is currently a member.

I appreciate that we're just focusing on the highlights of the story, but it feels like we're skipping way too much. You do get a sense of it being more of a mature take on this genre but there really isn't much drama in this collection. His exploits range from discovering that his physics teacher has been turning his students into human bombs, to foiling a plan by the Mauler Twins to make an army of robots. In 2010, his Eisner Award winning series, The Walking Dead, was developed into an AMC television series. Principal Winslow commends Mark for sticking up to a bully, but warns him that he isn't "invincible" or anything.Anyways, my instincts were right and reading this book justified them - Invincible is a bland, generic superhero comic, exactly like it looks.
