From what I could tell this is all-new footage with none of the old outtake footage from the Elite and Book of the Dead editions. One other separate Anchor Bay issue worthy of mention is the controversy surrounding the 2005 R1 US Anchor Bay 'Divimax' Book Of The Dead 2 DVD and subsequent Blu-ray release. This transfer also has noticeably adjusted contrast levels and higher widescreen framing, all of which you can see from the comparison screenshots below. It's just a little annoying that you need to find an older disc of the first Evil Dead to have most of its key special features. The UHD is still fixed to make it look like daylight than night outside when Scott explores the cabin and shed.
