About this deal

I use white glue when I need a little longer open time and don't have a bottle of Titebond Extend around. I have no idea why one would use TBII or what “water resistant” means, other than maybe if you clean up with water?

I suppose if you have some really tough-to-bond-to materials, or tricky repairs, Gorilla glue might be good to use. I don't know how authoritative it is, but this article gives some detail on which glues are safe and why some are not (due to their contents).

This is incredibly important if your project is going to be exposed to any sort of wet or humid climate. Disclaimer: Etsy assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, labelling, or content of sellers' listings and products. This creamy yellow glue dries very quickly (you can leave the pieces clamped a minimum of an hour, but two hours is preferable, and there's no harm in waiting still longer). If I am building a model that needs plenty of strength and will be painted, I will often use yellow glue. It's a thickened glue that won't run, goes on easy and smooth, leaves no pinholes, dries virtually clear, and cleans up with water. Just getting back into this after many years, and I was wondering if you folks had a preference between Elmer's Glue-All and Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Glue for basic balsa to cardboard bonding. When I first assembled the drawer, I noticed that the sides did not match up perfectly, so I glued the connector to the side piece to keep the tracks in a straight line.Hop on board and let’s get our hands dirty as we learn to build, decorate, and yes, sometimes even take a sledgehammer to things.

And once you open the bottle for the first use, the contents start to skin over---the entire rest of the bottle may be ruined before you need to use it again. However, I've had other people say that both glues are essentially the same as far as their composition, and that white glue will bond wood to wood as strong as the wood version. Etsy’s 100% renewable electricity commitment includes the electricity used by the data centres that host Etsy. Fin attachment and external Add-on components I'll generally grab the Carpenters Yellow glue as it Sets a bit faster and is just a tad stronger, but dries Yellow.and if you scuff-sand the plastic sheen off of the BT, and if you don't use too much glue on the initial assembly, you can get some pretty darned solid structural joints. It really was nice when gluing up a bending handrail where it took some time to get all the pieces into the forms glued up and clamped. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. If you want fins to set up quickly so you don't have to hold them in place so long, use yellow glue.
