If you are required to reset your password on login, this does not mean your credentials are in the dump or that your account has been breached. Even though these are entirely made in the USA, Covid-related production issues abounded throughout the process of getting these mats made. The black is not bad, but blue and red are extremely difficult to clean off and leave possibly permanent marks or at least multiple cleaning is required. They sell black plastic tubes, about 3-5 inches in diameter, that come with a shoulder strap and can be adjusted (twist and pull, then twist back to lock in place) to varying lengths. They do have some ghosting problems, especially with red, purple, and brown (which leaves sickly green marks, interestingly).

You can get rid of the tiles you're not using as the players move around the dungeon, and bring them back if you have to. Over fifteen years back, I got tired of using printed out white mat sheets for our hex-based GURPS tactical combat resolution.Even with the above warnings, I've had chessex mats that have lasted for DECADES and I'd STILL be using one that was about 25 years old if I hadn't lost it somewhere in moving, it had a little faint red starburst on it that was fading over time which had been drawn to show a campfire. As for size, I personally just use 2 sheets wide by 2 sheets tall (of 8-1/2 X 11 inch paper), so I guess that's something near 17X22. Drew a 2 cm grid (I use 2 cm because that's roughly how big my tokens are- I use small white-blue-red poker chips) on it with permanent marker, preferably a different color from the whiteboard marker to be used later. This is an excellent battleboard for use at home, but unless you pre-cut it so you can fold it for easier transport, it doesn't have easy mobility. However, if you play most dungeon-distance battles out with miniatures the maps will have you covered.

That’s what I got and the only imperfection is a heavy stitch near the edge of the map on one side, that runs for about 4 inches. Now I have glass hex grid which can have both permanent and dry erase on it ("permanent" markers are easily washed off glass).Get yourself a large piece of graph/hex paper, cover it with Clear Contact Paper (translucent, vinyl shelf liner), front and back, to waterproof it. As it stands, they are still very good, but the concern over markings is why I stick with counters and terrain markers.

I'd taken to folding it a number of times for storage, but I discovered that it holds the creases, making it a little annoying when characters or monsters end their move near the creases. I have done villages as well on these size maps to have something nice to roll out when the player characters venture into a community.

Boxed items are listed as "code/code" where the first code represents the box, and the second code describes the contents. However, if he takes the map with him, he gets to the game a little early the next time we play and unrolls it while he's waiting for the rest of us to arrive.
