About this deal

From her daily workout routines and favourite playlists, to recipes for tasty meals, tips on skincare, her go-to make-up looks, dressing for different occasions and even how to pack for festivals, city breaks and sun holidays, Everything has all you need to know about recognising your own beauty and making it work for you.

Her skin routine, as I reread it recently, is very similar to what Hirons recommends – except that she recommends acids a few times a week instead of everyday. It is suited to all skins, formulated with vitamins A, C and E to help strengthen and brighten by ever so gently resurfacing. Along with new photography and product recommendations, the updated version of the original book has new sections on different skin colours, conditions and industry updates. Also, unlike the essential oils, it is probably reasonable to believe that you’re not actively doing your skin any harms.I cannot recommend this one highly enough whether you are young or old - no matter what your skin issue is, Caroline knows what's causing it and what will help. This book was a bit overwhelming too, but since she has a good reputation and comes off honest and straightforward, I feel now I have a good foundation of reasonable information and suggestions to work from. Evening Standard Online ‘Skin queen of the internet’ Image Magazine Ireland ‘Her opinion is like gold-dust for anyone marketing a new product, as she is so trusted in the industry.

If you're new to skincare and find the vast array of products overwhelming, and they certainly can be, or if you just want to know more, try this book.Caroline states that any good formulation is ready to go as soon as you squeeze a drop onto your face. Also I know tons of other people have said it too, but I had NO IDEA that you weren't meant to rub products in on your hands first! Skincare" is the first and highly anticipated book by British beauty blogger and beautician Caroline Hirons.

Fully revised and updated, this book is packed with all the latest skincare recommendations, brandsand techniques… and no nonsense. Hirons advises nothing lower than SPF 30, favouring a factor 50, broad spectrum sunscreen, which protects against both types of rays. I also took photos of her essay against the rampant greenwashing in the “natural”/“clean” beauty movement, which I plan on forwarding to all of my friends who ask me for “clean” or “toxin-free” skincare recommendations. Such fantastic dry British wit adds lots of laughs and overall, this book will make anyone who is interested in the beauty industry a happier and much smarter person. After reading her book, I bought a brush for dry brushing, some essential oils, and I tried to learn a little bit about facial massage. Even a fanatic like I am, who follows Caroline on multiple forms of social media, learned so much while reading. The goods do not need to be in their original packaging however in a sellable condition, and at your own cost and risk. Harper’s Bazaar ‘The Skincare legend…’ Get the gloss ‘The internet's authority on skincare, Caroline Hiron's debut non-fiction book is a no nonsense guide to skincare – and getting the nation off face wipes for good. However, most of the info is already available on Caroline's site or her videos, so I didn't learn as much as I hoped to.
