About this deal

It's not something I'd wear out - recently I smelled it on a few ladies in the bathrooms - I'd prefer to have something more unique on when I'm out and about. Supermodels dominated MTV and the iconic Scream franchise transformed the traditional format of horror films. I had never had it before, during my teen age I used Charlie and Naj Oleari, but where I live Coty wasn't a must have for young girls. I've never smelled something that brought me so many good memories - this is a keeper and the scent, although quite linear is PERFECT for helping me get back and stay back "in the moment".

But it’s remained unchanged from its days on supermarket shelves, and for a very evocative trip down memory lane it’s a solid choice. As a cologne, it is very unusual, but it does the trick – picks you up in the morning, lightens your mood and keeps you feeling clean. Exclamation is one of my all time favorite perfumes and I have worn the absolute shit out of it in my 26 years. Faintly floral, rather chemical with an edge of musk the scent has more lasting power than I expected. It's a shame because this was one of my favorite scents to wear when I was a pre-teen so I have a lot of nostalgia for it, but. Coty classics, celebrity scents, an impressive selection of Thierry Mugler Alien, Angel and their flankers all sharing the shelf with boxes of humorous knock-offs like Crazy Lady and Hotness.

I want it because my Nana (my youngest aunt) would wear this when I was a little girl in the late 80’s and she was a gorgeous stylish teen with stylish shoulder padded blazer outfits. I tried it and to my memory it still smells the same sweet but light without the vanilla being too much. I remember spraying it on, then playing Duck Hunt with my brother on his new Nintendo that Santa brought him.The second girl is more modern, she’s wearing this because it’s the epitome of virginal femininity and she wears it in an ironic way even though we all know she’d like to be perceived as more innocent than she actually is. But then I realized the statement I wanted to make without saying a word was better expressed via Chanel No. This isn't seen as anything all that special because it's inexpensive and a bit dated on top of not being the best quality, but I adore it anyway and will wear it till they stop making it or I die, whichever comes first.

I first smelled it at my then-teenage cousins house as a kid and since she was a good cousin and we were close despite the age gap, she gave it to me. These three perfumes mentioned (Volupté, Exclamation and of course Tresor) were created by Sophia, like Jaipur, which is also similar to them. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this for my work, however, as this does not ooze the confidence and the CEO boss quality I like when wearing perfume for work. This has average performance that improves with dark storage after first sprays, to slightly above average for year round wear.I enjoyed the perfume very much and I will be wearing it much more often, it hasn't changed a bit from my recollection. I doubt there's great longevity (because it's so cheap) but since I love a peach note, It's going on the shelf with my peachy perfumes.

So, I recently got a bottle of this and after my initial walk-down-memory-lane in my mind's eye upon the first sniff, it all came back to me, the scenes from a bygone era in my life. The peach is definitely there, not too artificial of a scent, starts off bitter peach when first sprayed and dies down to a nice sweet peach pretty quickly. Not sure where/what it would be appropriate for, but right now wearing it to bed and having it stir up memories is enough for me.I had no idea about notes of this (and don't want to have) but is was sickly sweet, laud, offensive and just not good. I always sat in the middle where I could take a good look at all the other students - and vice versa. It's definitely powdery and sweet - I get vanilla, florals, and a fruitiness all at the same time - carried by the powdery aspect of this scent, with a hint of the wood too. The problem was that after a while it was all over the school and every girl wore the same perfume and you know how annoying that is.
