My name is Latoyah and I am passionate about creating healthy, easy and delicious meals that are perfect for healthy home cooking. I expected the coating of the chicken to be a bit of a faff but it really wasn’t and baking the chicken rather than frying it means the whole dish is a whole lot healthier than usual. The recipe makes a very generous amount of Sushi, with masses even after my need to sample and the first experience with the sushi mat.

I added ginger to the curry sauce because a dish without ginger isn’t a world I want to live in, and it definitely amped up the flavour.Crispy chilli beef and chow mein from the Chinese, a mild chicken dansak, mushroom rice and onion bahji from the Indian. I opted for Bavin’s take on Chinese crispy duck, Middle Eastern lamb meatballs and fried chicken wings; three wonderfully indulgent treats with strong flavours that I hoped would stand up to being health-ified. Bought this as a gift to myself, this book is so easy to use for everyday cooks who want to make something a bit special for a Saturday night tea , I so can’t recommend this enough as a beginner guide chicken tikka masala has now become a favourite in my house , as shocked at how much a takeaway has now become .
