About this deal

There’s also an “Expert” Version of the CompuCleaner electric air duster, but without even looking into it and finding out what the difference is apart from the colour and shape, I can say with utter certainty this is the only one someone will ever need in terms of functionality and effectiveness. This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. Unlike aerosol air spray which loses power and has a short life time, the CompuCleaner Xpert produces a consistent and never ending supply of clean and dry air. This means you can clean more thoroughly and produce a professional finish every time. Trusted by organisations such as, NHS, Toshiba and BBC to name a few, the CompuCleaner Xpert provides professional cleaning to state of the art appliances daily. So… despite my usual colourful language and slight occasional exaggerations, this electric air duster is so powerful there won’t be any question if it’s powerful enough. If something, you should pay attention not to have the smallest nozzle too close to the most delicate of things you might clean with this, so that you don’t end up breaking your equipment! Not sure how many times the filters can be washed/cleaned, & how easy it will be to get replacements.

The CompuCleaner is lightweight and ergonomically designed to enable maximum manoeuvrability for the best cleaning results. With a 3 metre long power cord, the CompuCleaner can be comfortably used at any angle without freezing or releasing moisture like aerosol air cans.As you probably can gather from the title, I absolutely love this thing (yes, even if it sounds a bit sad and/or weird) – but at the same time I feel so stupid for buying and buying cans of compressed air over and over again…. Just should have done the investment for an electric one ages ago and I would have saved so much money! The flagship 500 Watt internal power unit has been further optimised to deliver enhanced power at lower working temperatures. This combined with innovative changes to the internal air channels, creates a powerful stream of fresh and filtered air which can remove even the most stubborn dust. VERSATILE: Choose between 4 uniquely shaped, non-static nozzle attachments for enhanced and precise air direction and control. Use the longer attachments for pin point accuracy and the wide fan attachment for broad surface cleaning. Perfect for cleaning PC's, Laptops, Phones, Games Consoles, Servers, Models, Desks, Ornaments and Household items.

A very popular and powerful electric air duster that has been trusted by many users.MetroVac DataVac ED-500 is a 500-Watt electric duster with a 0.75HP motor and comes with various attachments or nozzles to clean different things. It can be used to clean Desktop PC, laptops, keyboards, camera lenses, MacBook keyboards, CPU heatsinks, case fans, and various other electronics and household items. A high-pressure electric duster that is as good as the DataVac and XPOWER Electric Dusters mentioned above. CompuCleaner Electric Air Duster is also a 500-Watt electric air duster and can be used to clean your electronic devices, computer keyboard, laptop, copy machine, printer, medical equipment, camera, and whatnot. Soon to build my first ever PC and figured I should get some practice by dissembling my old PS4 and PS4 pro and cleaning them from top to bottom. I bought this kit in advance (as I didnt really fancy using compressed air) to clean out the dust that I knew would be in the fan and the heat sink (as well as the mobo) but wasnt sure how powerful it would be...but holy smokes it surprised me. I suppose compressed air cans that you buy give more accuracy for more delicate cleaning (especially in tight spots) but the blower featured in this kit did the job more than well. You simply plug it in, and either push the switch on the handle down on one side with your thumb for normal setting (which imo is more than enough) or push the switch the other way for full speed and it sends even old caked dust flying off the components. Also comes with nozzles to increase spread or to focus air being blown into a more concentrated spot which is great for pushing off really hard dust. Normal speed was enough to do the job as full speed made me slightly anxious as to whether it might actually damage components (would encourage anyone to use it with a decent amount of distance away from the component you are cleaning). Brushes are fairly decent too but the main piece of kit is the blower. really worth it. Saves having to constantly buy cans of air The MetroVac ED500-ESD Electric Duster should be your go-to if you have expensive PC hardware that you want to keep clean. This powerful electric duster is powered by a 500 Watt motor that delivers about 0.75 horsepower, which puts the air-blowing capabilities of the ED500P on par with some small electric leaf blowers. It pushes air through fast and if it was just a little bigger it really could serve as a mini leaf blower. The ED500-ESD has a powerful 500-Watt motor and the same 0.75 horsepower rating for its ability to push air out. This device basically sets the bar for what to look for out of an electric air duster. Unfortunately, that also means that the ED500-ESD is quite loud. You shouldn’t use this electric duster around pets or children under the age of 5. It also runs hot but this isn’t a big issue thanks to its sturdy plastic handle. And while air is totally harmless to computers, static charge in the air is a whole different story. Most all of these electric dusters are made with ABS plastic, which doesn't carry much of an electric charge but you should still be mindful of this and ground yourself by touching your PC case (or any other large metal object) before doing any cleaning. Electric Dusters are much safer than compressed air cans because the only thing coming out of them is air, but compressed air cans may emit the chemical liquid that is contained inside them, and this may cause damage to your computer parts and electronics. Also, the chemicals used in compressed air cans are very deadly and not safe for the environment. So, this is definitely not a green way to clean your computer or electronics. Selecting a good electric air duster is very important if you care for your computer or electronics, so here I am going to list down the best electric dusters that you can get for yourself. Electric air dusters are preferable to using gas canisters when you need to regularly clean out your PC. They are reusable and don’t have any risk of moisture escaping. In most cases, electric air dusters have been specifically designed for cleaning motherboards, GPUs and other sensitive computer parts, so you can rest assured that they are perfectly safe for use. They also often have specially designed nozzles and ESD brushes to make even easier work of cleaning your computer. If you are still worried, look for a model with adjustable speeds so you clean slowly and more carefully where needed. While the ED500-ESD is nearly identical to the MetroVac ED500P, this model is better (and more expensive) because it is grounded, is made from ESD-safe plastic, and comes with an anti-static wrist strap. This helps to prevent damage to your PC’s most sensitive components. But don’t fully discount the ED500P for PC case cleaning, as many users have reported safely using the ED500P to clean out their PC cases for years without any negative consequences.

The X3 Hurricane’s built-in battery allows it to run at full power for up to 15 minutes. Combine this with its compact form factor and a set of five straw-shaped detachable nozzles and it simply doesn’t get easier to clean your PC. The attachment selection doesn’t support uses beyond cleaning electronics but this is where the X3 shines anyway. An electric air duster is an invaluable cleaning tool, especially if you own a lot of electronics. Capable of removing dust from inside keyboards, camera lenses and televisions, electric air dusters are a fraction of the effort of a standard duster, plus they’re much better for your electronics. Speaking of plastics, the ED500-ESD comes with a concentrator nozzle, an air-flare nozzle, an air-pin pointer, and an added dust brush nozzle. As previously mentioned, these are made from ESD-safe plastics that do not hold or dissipate any static electricity. If you only clean your hardware every once in a while, the DataVac ED500P might be overkill. But if you prefer to keep a meticulous workspace, then this is an eco-friendly way to clean your keyboard on the daily.

Here are the best electric air dusters or computer air dusters for cleaning computers, PC components, laptops, notebooks, peripherals, electronics, etc. These electric dusters can be used for homes and offices. DataVac Electric Duster ED-500 Update (05/11/2019): Looks like I completely forgot to upload the actual pictures (oops!), but since I just finished cleaning my refrigerator coils in about 2 minutes time with almost no effort I thought I better upload those pictures here and mention how pleased I have been with this CompuCleaner. I think I’ve owned it for over a year now and used it probably to just clean all things from computers and radiators to now refrigerators that aren’t performing as they should be for about…. 20 cans’ worth of compressed air? Although this is not comparable with the cans you can buy because you can clean so much better with this. So while the price tag may seem a bit steep, you’ll save so much more money in the end not only in the sense that this is cheaper to run over long time, but also because it’s so powerful and easy to use that you will save money on repairing the damages caused by dust & overheating. Designed for use over short periods, not longer sessions. Another trade off for being compact & powerful.
