The Barbie® Inspiring Women™ Series honors Madam C.J. Walker, successful entrepreneur and the first documented self-made female millionaire in the U.S. Barbie is committed to shining a light on empowering role models in an effort to inspire more girls. As a part of The Barbie Dream Gap Project, we’re introducing girls to remarkable women’s stories to show them you can be anything. In celebration of the 5th anniversary of The Barbie Dream Gap Project, Barbie teamed up with Inspiring Girls International to host a global auction featuring replicas of one-of-a-kind dolls originally launched over the past five years.
