About this deal

Money is used to symbolize power and influence, while color represents the two sides of the conflict between the city and its inhabitants. Water and the forest are symbols of cleansing and renewal. One of the most compelling aspects of Penelope Douglass Corrupt Book is its exploration of the history of corruption in government. Through the novel, readers are provided an objective look at how government officials have used their power to their own benefit and the impact that this has had on society. That’s what Michael had taught me. We can’t stop what happens to us, but we can choose how we survive it. Own it or it will own you.

Throughout her journey, Rika encounters a series of revelations. She faces betrayals and twists which force her to question everything she thought she knew about the Horsemen and their motivations. She discovers that the situation is far more complicated than she initially believed. It had layers of secrets and deception that extend beyond the surface. Erika Fane’s boyfriend’s older brother is handsome, strong, and completely terrifying. The star of his college’s basketball team gone pro, he’s more concerned with the dirt on his shoe than he is with her. But she saw him. She heard him. The things that he did, and the deeds that he hid…

Success!

Standing up straight, I squared my shoulders and let the fear sit. I didn’t push it away or try to bury it. Review: Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family by Omid Scobie & Carolyn Durand Few places are as mysterious and oppressive as the small rural town in the Midwest featured in Penelope Douglas’ novel Corrupt. The town is characterized by its friendly inhabitants and close-knit community, with most of its citizens living in modest homes and working in the local factories or farms. I have a fairly long list of issues, most of which I can’t state because they are spoilers. However, I will say the book has:

For years, Erika bit her nails, unable to look away. Now, she’s in college, but she hasn’t stopped watching him. He’s bad and the things she’s seen aren’t content to stay in her head anymore. One of the most talked about books of the year is Penelope Douglas’ Corrupt. It is a thrilling story that follows the lives of four young adults as they navigate their way through the dark and twisted world of the corrupt. The plot follows the main characters as they are thrust into the world of corrupt police officers, drug dealers, and criminals. The characters must choose between their morality and their safety as they try to survive in a world of lies and deceit. And let’s not forget the time when the Four Horsemen tell Rika about the girl who was drugged and raped in an old church basement where everyone hangs out at to party. They didn’t catch all the guys who had a go at her. There’s still at least four running around, Michael makes a point to tell her. Good times.Yet despite all my objections and the things that still have me scratching my head, I enjoyed Corrupt. Whether you love the characters or hate them—and there are quite a few that fall heavily on the “dislike” side—all the players are fascinating. Penelope Douglas knows how to weave a spellbinding mystery, and this one is particularly addictive. Say what you will, Corrupt is a gripping, erotic, disturbing, all-consuming thrill ride.

My boyfriend’s older brother is like that scary movie that you peek through your hand to watch. He is handsome, strong, and completely terrifying. The star of his college’s basketball team and now gone pro, he’s more concerned with the dirt on his shoe than me.
