About this deal

Although this design isn't always perfect as they can be changed accidentally especially by those pesky kids! Advantages

The RGB+CCT features colour changing with colour temperature adjustable in one. You have the colour changing effects as well as an impressive colour temperature range of 2400K - 6500K. To select the correct LED driver (also known as an LED power supply or LED transformer) follow these 4 rules: Colour temperature switchable downlights became increasingly popular throughout 2017. Now almost every lighting manufacturer has a version of their own, but what's so good about them? And which one is the best?RGB LED colour changing tape allows you t unleash the full colour spectrum with blues, greens, reds and everything in-between. The downside of RGB is that is doesn't have a true white. When you switch to white, its a really 'off-white shade' with a really high kelvin rating of around 7000K, difficult for task lighting like chopping food or reading cook books.

The best of the bunch are the Ricoman Centorio, Crompton Spectrum and the JCC V50. The Centorio is great for its ease of switching between the colour temperatures. The optional remote control puts it in a league above the rest. Its also the brightest and has a nice wide 90 degree beam angle. Its quite wide though but than can be advantageous if you've already got large ceiling holes. As they dim in brightness, the colour temperature will remain consistent. If you want something that reduces in colour temperature as it dims in brightness, then that is whole different type of product known as Dim Tone, Dim to Warm and many other variations of this exist. Dim to Warm Lights Scottish Highlands, areas which we class as zone 1 are post codes: AB30-38, AB44-56, FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV30-32, IV33-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-33, PA34-40, PH18-26, PH30, PH31-41, PH49-50 Colour temperature is measured in degrees kelvin and is shown with the letter K. The higher the kelvin rating, the whiter and then bluer the light becomes. A light with a 6500K rating would mimic daylight effects, like a clear blue sky. Compared to the lower end of the kelvin spectrum which is 2700K, which would have a more warmer, orange glow. Switches or Controls?Even the versions with switches located on the front aren't always ideal as you've still got to get the step ladders out, remove the bezels and change each light. Then repeat this process every time you want to make a change, with each downlight in the room. Regular Switching Pro Tips The more LEDs you have per metre, the more seamless the lighting effect becomes. Older LED tapes with 30 or 60 LEDs per metre have wider gaps between them which creates a dotting effect. COB (Chip On-Board) LED strips with 480 LEDs produce a seamless, dot-free lighting effect. I've used six of the best selling brands in our comparison table. Each one is fire rated and dimmable as standard. Each one has an IP rating of IP54 to IP65 meaning they can all be used in bathrooms or in any room you like. The voltage of the LED tape must match the LED driver. If the LED tape is 12V, the LED driver must be 12V. The more advanced RGB+W and RGB+WW offers a mixture of colour changing LED tape with a dedicated cool or warm white all in one. You can either select a static colour, or mix any of the colours just like RGB. You can select the white colour temperature when you need to see more clearly what you're doing, which is ideal for cooking etc. Another key selling feature of this version is mixing the primary colours with warm or cool white which produces some unique orange and pink effects.
