Ibuprofen is an NSAID that has demonstrated its efficacy in the common animal experimental inflammation models by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Before Nuromol Dual Action is taken, the patient should first try ibuprofen or paracetamol for pain relief in accordance with the product instructions, for the first day of treatment. The product can, with reasonable safety, be sold or supplied otherwise than by or under the supervision of a pharmacist.
