About this deal

The NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC VA colour weather station with 4 measuring points in black displays all relevant weather data at a glance.

Whether you're a weather enthusiast, a gardener, or simply want to be prepared for changing weather conditions, this weather station will keep you informed and empowered. With real-time data, a vibrant colour display, multiple sensor integration, wireless technology, and data history tracking, this weather station stands out as a reliable and feature-rich choice. All this made Mount Washington an ideal testing ground for the team building version two of the Everest weather stations. A Good Value Weather Station This weather centre is good value though it would be improved by a decent owner’s manual to assist in setting it up, explain its functions and a better-lit screen. Multiple Sensor Integration: The weather station comes with three sensors for measuring outdoor conditions, providing data from different locations for more accurate readings.

This would be no small effort and not without risk, but Tenzing and all the Sherpa working on the mountain recognized that the weather stations provided several direct benefits. In its upper left corner, the display unit shows forecasted conditions for the next 12 hours using any of its six different icons — sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, stormy, snowy. In addition to replacing the highest weather station, the team performed maintenance on the four other automated weather stations lower on the mountain. All these questions can be viewed on the clearly arranged colour display - you will find information such as temperature and humidity for indoor as well as outdoor, as well as the exact time via DCF radio transmission. The Nevado Ausangate station joins those previously placed on Chile’s Tupungato Volcano, at 21,342 feet; on Canada’s highest peak, Mount Logan, at 18,500 feet, and at several points on Mount Everest. At about the same time the Balcony Station stopped transmitting, the wind sensors below it—at the next highest station, on the South Col—went offline as well. In it was a data logger that contained the last data the station had collected before succumbing to the extreme conditions. The external measurements are courtesy of the included remote sensor that mounts outside to gather outdoor temperature and humidity readings and transmit the data to the indoor display from a range of up to 30 meters. The user-friendly interface makes this weather station accessible to all, from weather enthusiasts to beginners.
