Starts out with a very nice citrusy opening and after about ten mins it is a very aromatic and floral fragrance. Nothing has smelled like L'eau D'Issey before and anything that smells similar took after this giant. I gave it another try~ this time spritzing it into the air and walking into the mist of fragrance~ and I must say I like it better.

The news broke out recently that the man himself, Miyake, passed away on the fifth of August this year. I am currently trying to expand my collection and try new categories, but L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme will always be a very special scent in my collection. To those who know the early batches, if you spray too much then you will be treated with the cockroach smell haha but spray it conservatively and its so refreshing. So what we have here is almost the luxury form of a deodorant - something you want to use on the go that will gain attention from the people you walk past from its strength, while also being something you can present to those who ask what you're wearing.
