Now I am not going to tell you any more about this book because I went into it pretty cold and let me tell you. Lucy Score took this concept and gave us the ultimate look at how this feeling can tie up a man for years. Ultimately I decided to marry her best friend to “make her hurt the way I did” and “ruin any chance I had with her” but also now I’m punishing her for not trusting me. Had to roll my eyes at the Senator doing his own evil work but again this is a work of fiction and we all like a HEA so by him sending himself and not just sending “henchmen”, we could reach a happy conclusion faster.

There was romance, comedy, small town vibes, Grumpy/sunshine, suspense, mystery, lovable characters, and amazing plot! No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.

The free-spirited artist just needs to lay low for a few weeks so she can figure a way out of this nightmare. I cringed so hard when the heroine took it upon herself to apologize to her backstabbing hs bff not only slept with the hero, but married him. I am not sure that I bought that the H felt he was just being used by the h for sex when he knew how long she’d loved him for. because the more I think about it the less I like it and the more I have a feeling I've read a telenovela.Sometimes I was incredibly sad for her with how she felt each time he denied her his true feelings, I laughed at the stuff she came out with and I loved her attitude and the way she handled brick. I enjoyed the side stories that were happening and all these great relationships that were intertwined. Male leading character, trying to charm the female leading character and prove to her how much he loves her. He had his reasons but that still made me go wtf to his conclusion that h was in it just for the sex.
