We take a special look at this scene and why, if you’re watching a “FAST” movie, you never want to get up before the end credits are finished! None of that changes the technical proficiency of the video presentation itself, but it does diminish its potential for demo material, with only really the bookending sequences proving visual highlights. Disney boss Bob Iger has confirmed that the studio has plans for Frozen 4, even though Frozen 3 isn’t even out yet. Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica.

The final third is one great big epic hot wheels-crazy rush of insanity that, similarly, marks a highlight over the last few films. Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path.

Still, on its technical merits, it looks excellent, fine detail is impressive (you're not going to notice the upscale here, not that you ever really can - see John Wick 2), effects work - when done right - is seamless, and the image boasts that cinematic blockbuster feel carried over from the last few entries. It’s not stopping more sequels coming down the line of course, and a further spin-off for Dwayne Johnson’s character. explosions, natural greens, blue skies, and all variety of color output appearing superbly rendered. M3gan was putting the chills into cinemagoers at the start of the year, and some early production artwork from 2018 has offered a different look at.Dialogue remains well prioritised across the frontal array, whilst effects expand out as the streets are smashed and bashed by steel boulders, cars crashing across the surrounds, growling engines rumbling your sofa, and booming explosions threatening the foundations of your house. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry, Black-ish) is the ultimate target of Dante’s vengeance.
