I could honestly read this book again Elijah and Snow are my favourite couple, plus I mean who wouldn’t want a tall, tattooed man after all 🫢 except everything from this book including the unexpected. there were some twists and turns but after a while I just felt that I couldn't wait for the book to finish. Every male in this series is a full on alpha and possessive but Elijah definitely tops them all so far. I am not a huge fan of mafia anything because as a genre anything mafia related is notorious for its degrading treatment of women as such I would expect the male characters to be deeply flawed. Grant it the book didn’t start with Snow falling for Elijah right off the bat, but I literally couldn’t put it down.

Overall,the mafia men in this book felt like a disgrace and degradation to the mafia community of books and should'nt be allowed to exist. Elijah boy oh boy I think he's my fave guy in this series so far he is everything you want in a alpha OTT boyfriend!

This book was everything Elijah has been obsessed with Snow for 10 years and now he takes her to be his, she fights him every step of the way. One line in the book is how Snow describes the way Elijah watches her and it is "A predator stalking his prey. They have alot of ups and downs in there relationship and out of there relationship with someone trying to hurt Snow and hurt there family business. In no way do I think we should be justifying Elijah as desirable real life romance partner, he is definitely a stalker but he is not an entirely despicable character! Montana is a lover of all living creatures, except for spiders, and her love for her pets is never ending.

But to have someone forcefully make another person give oral, and then convincing themselves and the other person that it was good for them too? She has also had this constant shadow in her life over the last ten years and that shadow would be Elijah so when she finds herself in his clutches she kind of knows what she is in for. I actually liked the characters by the end, but at first I thought his intensity could've been turned down a notch (he would've been more likeable). But seeing as the actions of both the main characters were extremely stupid and reckless, I can see any person with a proper functioning brain taking them out.Now I can't wait for book 4 Storms book let's see which person can tame this growly cold hearted beast. I can understand why this is a DNF for a lot of people but I also think there is a certain amount of “reader beware” with mafia romance.
