Would it be the orange box sets or blu-ray season sets as those seem to be the only ones I can find which cover all 9 seasons? The eighth season of the anime following the adventures of Goku (voice of Masako Nozawa) as he attempts to save the Earth from an alien invasion.

There's also the Dragon Box DVDs, which were certainly stunning when they came out around 2002, but they're in SD and IMO, aren't aging great with modern HD/4K TVs. The story was written by Akira Toriyama and is based on the Dragon Ball manga series which adapts volumes 17-42 (chapters 195 onwards). Some minor changes were made to the dialogue in addition to minor characters receiving re-dubbing (such as the News Interviewer who approaches Cell before the games begin) in addition to Ox-King and the narration. The problem is that they only have to release the show with decent-looking footage once, and they want to be able to hold that carrot-on-a-stick over fans' heads until the sun blows up.Because Yamucha says the next dimension like once and I remember Vegeta sounding like modern Sabet then early Sabet between certain lines.

Still ridiculous that a 16:9 release is being pushed, the 30th anniversary edition and its repackages seemed like the one glimmer of hope that fight was won, unless, as you say, Crunchyroll are holding that back for the 35th anniversary release.Probably came from a television re-airing or was a DVD mandate at the time of release since the same thing happened with Fist of the North Star for the Super Premium DVD Box from 2002 but in that case, it was fixed for the 25th Anniversary DVD Box from 2008 since that had it's own remaster.
