It opens with a very bright citrus sweetness (heightened by pineapple, but sharpened by pepper) that lasts for a very long time. Obsessed is what kids today would describe as "mid" (average or ok) It's like the Ford Fusion of colognes. The vibes of leather and vanilla are also prominent, but the citrusy from the opening is, somewhat, faint. Thankfully and quite inexplicably that subsides and Obsessed has a 'third act' so to speak which adds another twist to the tale, in the form of a creamy vanilla type warmth and maybe just maybe.Old cynic that I am I'm afraid I see these perfumes as simply money makers for the houses, trading on past glories. Overall I would consider this to be 70% similar to legend night - and I would say they are both on the same level in terms of overall smell. Top notes are Citruses, elemi, Neroli and Bergamot; middle notes are Lavender, Sage, Violet Leaf, Orange Blossom, Lily-of-the-Valley and Rose; base notes are Musk, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Iso E Super.
