About this deal

With more scents than I could use in what remains of my lifetime I don't need to keep an indifferent scent. The one thing that is annoying with this fragrance however is that strong "inky" note in the beginning, which may be coming from the blackcurrant(which is quite a bitter, astringent and metallic tasting berry anyway).

The top notes open the composition with a grassy, slightly bitter accord of saffron, which is gently accentuated by the tenderness of the quivering rose and the sweetness of geranium. Club De Nuit Sillage by United Arab Emirates fragrance house Armaf is a floral woody musk scent for men and women. Edit: Tested it indoors in AC today and it lasted for 8+ hours and I could smell the musk and sandalwood finally after the relatively harsh opening and the strong citrus for about a couple of hours. After getting the hottest and soapiest shower ever, I was surprised how blissful every fragrance in my collection felt, having the scent memory of this bitter chemical mess embeded forever in my traumatized olfactory cortex. Lasts about 6 hours and projects decent but it is incredibly metallic and synthetic smelling and the top notes are so harsh I wish I could skip them. I've heard Afnan Supremacy In Heaven is a softer and fresher alternative (for someone who looking into this) that I wish to try myself, but for now (and probably ever) Sillage is my favourite for this DNA. This perfume is a very aromatic fragrance that is great for Spring and Summer time, however I believe this can be worn all year around.

A friend of mine who knows nothing about fragrances tried it and thought it smelled like a bathroom deodoriser, RIP.

Armaf Club De Nuit Sillage is a sensual, oriental fragrance that enhances its wearer's best qualities. I only wish that there was a prominent tea note and maybe a bit less ambroxan to round it out as an all-year scent. like it does work in the air but the very synthetic composition of this frag just does not make it a very pleasant experience as the wearer.

Apart from a flash of mildly astringent citrus in the opening, Sillage settles immediately down into a lightly floral musk plus creamy ambroxian and doesn't really change. After being on my skin for about 30 minutes the lemon had calmed down enough for some of the other notes to be more noticeable.

tbh it doesn't smell bad in the air i had ppl compliment it but they compared it kinda like a pharmacy smell which is uhh questionable? Drydown offers up more masculine power in the form of inimitable musk with notes of sandalwood, cedar wood and sweet ambroxan. However, I really wanted to try this, because I didn't feel like splurging money on a SMW bottle (apparently the newer batches aren't what they used to be, according to several fragrance reviewers) and the reviews were very good. Top notes are Violet Leaves, Bergamot, Ginger, Lemon, Lime and Black Currant; middle notes are Jasmine, Rose and Iris; base notes are Sandalwood, Ambroxan, Cedar and Musk.

I have owned Armaf Sillage for almost two years and I hardly wear it, but it is also my most worn scents. Armaf has yes as some have already noticed several clones they either among themselves 'twisten' or simply filled the same juice in another bottle and released. hmm, i seem to have such a hate-love relationship with this one the more i'm trying this, and i find that it deserves to be mentioned - right after spraying it's a chemical beast, all the strong long lasting aroma chemicals trying to find a place to settle and honestly, it's no good at all, axe bodyspray headache tier. I also get a grassy smell along with the flowers, citruses and musk, but I can't understand where it's coming from. Now - I've never been a fan of really cheap Middle Eastern scents, although many do impress in oil formats.I was in Walmart two days ago standing by a end cap and a lady and her daughter walk by approximately 5 feet away and when she got about 5 yards away she turned and said “um you smell good as hell”. This might not have some of the delicate tea notes and might be slightly more powdery in the base, but is really quite spot-on for such an inexpensive fragrance. Also i am spraying them on my girlfriend (she hates it) to test if i go nose blind to them and to see if it feels different on someone else's skin. Again like with the Milestone bottle, this flashy, gorgeous bottle is so appropriate for the sensation the scent makes me feel. When i first tried CDNIM i said to myself: yeah this smells a lot like Aventus but still there is a difference.
