The all-men’s brand was launched in 1964 by Estée Lauder and her husband Joseph, with the eponymous Aramis (which I’ve reviewed here) as the first fragrance in the range.

This transitions easily to the main accord of Rose/ Geranium, clove-like Carnation, slightly powdery Iris, and lushness from Jasmine. I feel like a have a soul of a dragon, and calmness and wisdom of a 75, or 85 year old lady - unbeatable combo! Aramis 900 however has something of a lighter aspect of all the above however doesn't ascend to what it could be due to it's relative weakness and lack of depth.
