The Ender 3 chassis has some differences between the models, but all have an integrated screen which is mounted to the side of the printer, which is convenient in making the printer easy to transport, and reduces the footprint. Here and on some other smoothly curved surfaces is unfortunately where the Ender-3 Pro shows one of its weaknesses due to the use of the older stepper motor drivers.

The surface of this build plate has been specially developed for PLA filament and filament based on PLA.Smaller to place around, but Creality Ender-3 V3 SE 3D printer still offers an ample build volume of 220*220*250mm. A new magnetic printing surface, removable and flexible, allows you to pluck prints off the build plate easily. It’s an excellent first printer for a beginner or an additional machine for the experienced hobbyist. With dimensions of 700mm x 750mm x 900mm, it is suitable for open-frame printers such as the Ender-3 series, Ender-5 (Pro/Plus) CP-01, CR-X (Pro), CR-6 SE, CR-10 (S/Pro/Mini/V2/V3), CR-20 series and others.

The unique design of the heatsink makes the use of a heatbreak PTFE tube unnecessary and therefore ensures better heat dissipation. You may notice that the Ender 3 V2 hot end looks different due to a new enclosure, but “under the hood" it is identical to the other Ender 3 models. While the Prusa MK3S is a more expensive machine, I was still surprised to see this much of a difference in a test part using the same software. I thoroughly recommend you watch this YouTube video before you start to put an Ender Pro 3D printer together.I've added 'upgrades' for convenience and reliability (not that I expect anything would have failed) and have run 4Kg through the machine in around a week. The Ender-3 Pro uses a small radial fan to cool the part, the Alfawise an axial fan with a nozzle that I slightly had to bend into place that the flow of air nicely reached the nozzle. Inside the box is also a USB drive (micro SD card + USB adapter) with all the documentation required. There are some minor differences in overhangs where the cooling solution of the Ender-3 Pro seems to perform better, and the U30 Pro sometimes shows blobs on the surface that is a result of too small print moves.

I've upgraded to the Creality heated glass bed because this will improve print quality a lot, by providing a flatter and more consistent surface to print on.

Among various quality-of-life improvements over the original Ender 3, the Ender 3 Pro has built-in belt tensioners for the X and Y axes that allow you to manually adjust tension if the belt isn’t stretched properly.
