Pitched as “ Midnight Run in a Bram Stoker world,” Good Bad & Undead will reportedly pair Dinklage’s Van Helsing and Momoa’s vampire as they go from town to town, scamming people into paying Van Helsing to “kill off” their vampire (aka Momoa) problem. The swindle gets derailed when someone puts out a huge bounty for the vampire, which sets off a chain of events that puts a whole world “full of monsters and magic” hot on their trail.Well, I am disappointed I didn't like this more. I enjoyed some of it rather a lot. Then again there were more than a few places where I was not charmed at all. Credulity over-strained. Because of a genetically engineered tomato gone bad - half the world population died of food poisoning (basically). That's when the witches, werewolves, and vampires came out of the closet. Laws were formed to accomodate the different populations. Our girl s with the police for non-humans against human crimes, then she leaves because things go terribly and horribly wrong.

I was rather impressed with the writing for Deadpool in this DLC and the story arc itself. It not only alludes to a character hinted to be a significant future player in the very final scenes of the main story, but the ending to Deadpool’s recruitment saga sets the stage for an ongoing future DLC subplot involving vampyres taking advantage of the chaos Lilith is currently causing for their agendas. There’s even some excellent foreshadowing of who the main villain of the next DLC expansion will be at the end of this DLC’s final fight. It’s short and sweet but also surprisingly substantial, as I was able to raise Deadpool’s friendship levels a few times before even finishing it up. I didn’t encounter any game-breaking glitches in the story scenes or while saving this time, which makes me think that the developers patched that particular issue out of at least the PS5 version. There's some interesting developments to follow in this book, and I especially find entertaining how tomatoes are feared by all humans due to them containing a virus that wiped out 1/4 of humanity. This book is multi-layered and has complex characters and developments, and it is easily enjoyable. I love the characters. Rachel is just all kinds of awesome. I like she handles herself in really difficult situations. She keeps an even head and can think about things from different points of view. She also tries hard to do what is right. Jenks is nearly perfect. He is tough and always seems to add a lot to every scene he is a part of. Ivy is still a bit of a mystery but I like the tension she adds to story.

MAGIC - good, different, makes sense, solid (I liked Harry Potter, but I like non-wand magic alot more) On my first play-through, I played Deadpool and Venom DLCs. I can get 10 achievements of both DLCs normally. But for Morbius DLC and cannot pop it at all. In honour of the release of Pale Demon, the ninth book in the Hollows series, on the 22rd this month I'm rereading the whole series. That's it? Yep, that's it. What? You think these two little things alone are not reason enough to DNF the shrimp out of a book? Don't you know me at all? I've DNFed books with less than one freaking DWtHI™ in the past, so believe me, my Lovely Arthropods, nothing is impossible in Kill it with Fire Land (KiwFL™). And even though my innocent fascination is gone after reading my share of urban fantasy, this series is in my opinion one of the best out there. It has the right mix of fast-paced action, suspense, true friendships, drama, character development and even some romance to keep the story interesting. Then there is the lethal pizza joint run by Ivy's vampiric uncle, Rachel getting stiffed by numerous clients and us finally finding out what Trent actually is. The latter also results in us finding out a little more about Rachel's father. About that second half, I enjoyed it so much I couldn't stop reading it, even though I was full with work for college. In every crisis, someone else comes along to save Rachel - at least in the first two books. She may do something weird trying to save herself, but it doesn’t finish the scene. It reminds me of “deus ex machina” (a god comes in to move the story forward when the writer can’t think of another way out).The Good, the Bad, and the Undead adds Deadpool as a playable character, who is the central figure in the storyline of the DLC. Rachel is in a dangerous situation and needs to do a chant. She gets distracted in the middle of the chant and says “Oh my God,” then she forgets the last word of the chant, but she has already interrupted the chant, then several moments later she remembers the last word. Max Barbakow, a director primarily known for NFL concussion short film The Duke: Based on the Memoir 'I'm The Duke' by J.P. Duke, will reportedly direct the new movie for Legendary Entertainment, with both Momoa and Dinklage set to star and produce. Narración: ¿Está mal escrito? Está bien escrito.
