I really did enjoy this book, it was one I found myself racing towards the end to find out what happens but at the same time not really wanting it to end. It's officially been a day since I've become one entire year older and to be honest I don't feel it? I was in college waiting for a seminar to begin when I started this book, and I literally had to walk out because it was either that or put the book down, and I couldn’t put this book down goddammit! and for some reason his therapist who was trying to prevent his death penalty -which she did the opposite- falls in love with him🤨🤨 obviously it's fiction but there's no way a doctor could be this unethical? The author put in the perfect amount of darkness, thrill, tension alongwith the psychological details being the cherry on the top.This goes to some seriously dark places and requires the reader to suspend what they believe about “healthy” relationships. This man is so hot, intelligent, detail oriented , organised and observant, the way he saw right through her, sometimes I found myself questioning who was the doctor out of the two of them.

I just fell for a serial killer, but also because said murderer is wayyyyyyyy too fucking smart for me. The characters are amazingly written plus the intense tension between them like they were barely touching and I was ready to burst into flames.It wasn't all that attractive, and being a pacifist - murderers and serial killers and people who take other peoples lives in general?
