Also her mother is just awful but that was never really explored so it felt too much like Monica and Ross Geller and their mom’s dynamic for my liking, like it was supposed to just be a there in the background, this massively toxic relationship that everyone just disregards. The love between the two was almost too impossible to be true, but you never knew when that sneaky spark would ignite even under the most incredulous circumstances.Her writing, especially when it comes to comedy, is impeccable I just think there was something missing from the plot or emotional development here. The characters and romance were the biggest successes for me, while the pacing and conflicts seemed to drag just a tiny bit at times.
