About this deal

Unlike Blade's usual style, this book is shorter and focuses on relentless action, making it an engaging and swift read, steering clear of the usual narrative fluff found in the author's works. have read most if not all of the jack widow stories and have enjoyed them all there's some gruesome scenes in this one not for the faint of heart but maybe we're all tainted from gilligan's island and hogan's heroes maybe i was eating yellow squash and grilled chicken thighs when the heads rolled? In this enthralling new thriller by International Bestseller Scott Blade, Jack Widow teams up with a woman from his past to investigate a double murder, but things aren't what they seem. A cool night, in the middle-of-nowhere, in a vast county in New Mexico, a lone patrolwoman comes across a pair of dead cops sitting in their cruiser. All in all a good fast moving thriller storyline and read remembering that however well your trained it’s highly unlikely that a single person could achieve what Widow did.

With little planning and a lot of shooting, he gets the son and hauls them out of there with minutes to spare. And just with Star Trek, I personally think the original is better, but the next generation has its own merits and is enjoyable. Lee Child is a master at this art, and a master at taking the reader along the mental journey of hero and villain alike.

A good fast moving thriller and storyline that has Widow being a Good Samaritan helping a retired Federal Marshal who almost hit him with his car while suffering a heart attack. It’s not just a bad guy killing someone – you can follow the intention, see the reason and can feel that they are pointing at something bigger. The request was to save a former biker women and child in a witness protection scheme from the gang of killers whose mission was to take her back to the gangs HQ for punishment.

The Jack Widow book series by Scott Blade includes books Gone Forever, Winter Territory, A Reason to Kill, and several more. The narrative kicks off when Widow rescues US Marshal Fry, setting the stage for a fast-paced rescue mission. They often go down the drain, but everyone follows steps that seem plausible, at least from their perspective points of view. So I thank you from the bottomless pit of my heart, and now happily I'm off to read the next box set.As a major snowstorm approaches very fast, the secret mission of Alex Shepard looks like turning into a failure. After leaving the Navy, Jack Widow now keeps himself involved in investigating about the crimes that involves the most dangerous people on earth.

Widow lives up to his reputation - a decent guy minding his own business but when trouble knocks - he answers and sorts out the bad guys. Widow is the same – but I think Child has found a better balance, while Blade is still a tad shy of that level. A late-night stroll down the mostly abandoned Route 66 in Arizona is nearly the end of Widow as a pair of headlights approaches but instead of slowing, the vehicle almost flattens him.The three stories can be quite heavy to hold because they are not three separate books but 1 big book.
