About this deal

I am a mum of two (aged 13 and 8) and I started Tantrums to Smiles with the aim of being able to help others by sharing lots of hopefully helpful information, advice and reviews. Before you know it kids will soon be expertly slipping from revolting tricks to stomach turning gags with a little bit of practice and the help of the Gross Magic set. It was at my nieces wedding and they had a magician to entertain the guests, and he had a coin that we were told to examine,we did and it was an ordinary 1p.

The tricks range from very easy through to those that really will take a bit of practice and dedication, but there is masses for a complete novice to have a go at straight out of the box. The information does not usually directly identify you, but it can give you a more personalised and consistent web experience. Our policy requires consent for cookies that are used for measurement purposes and consent for the use of personal data for personalised ads. You will be able to see just how much he loves the set and performing the tricks from the amount of laughter and fun in the video. Gross Magic was just the right level for Caitlin (nearly 9) but there was plenty to keep Ieuan (7) happy – including some disgusting brown slim and pretend veins. The material on this site may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used, except with prior written permission of Condé Nast. Complete with everything you really need to get going, this set is definitely great value for money and is full to the brim with props and other gross items to aid in your gross trickery! James absolutely loves this set and has spent so much time perfecting his tricks, grossing us all out and cackling hilariously when he pulls a trick or prank on us! These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. He is now very much a little magician in the making having mastered some of the gross tricks that still turn my stomach!

James found it hilarious to scare his Nanny with the fake cockroaches and amaze his Grandad by making poo stained loo roll clean again! Of the 39 tricks in the instruction booklet, 31 of them need the Gross Magic props but the remaining 8 can be carried out without them using things you may have in the house. Google: Google's policy requires identification of each party that receives end users’ personal data as a consequence of using a Google product. The toilet has an inner lining that can be removed by squeezing the sides of the lid before you lift it.Suitable for Ages 8+, children can horrify family members like Granny or old Aunt Agatha and all of their friends as well. Very low tech for the not insignificant cost but watching the boys earnestly practising the tricks and giggling uncontrollably whilst trying to perform them, was worth every penny. Some of the tricks did require some practice but I think this would be the case for an 8 year old too. Whilst the set is aimed at ages 8+ James is only 6 and still thoroughly enjoyed playing this with just a little bit of help. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Cockroach egg envelope, Cockroach, Poo cards, Dice, Card cube, Plastic box and lid, Squidgy brain, Small pot with lid, Large pot with lid, Loose tooth, Gross toilet and lid, Toilet roll machine and toilet paper. The set feels great value for money especially since most of the contents can be used time and time again and so will get plenty of use.

That jaw dropping moment when a trick goes right and it leaves you guessing and wondering exactly how they even did it? Gross Magic is aimed at kids over 8 and even so, some of the tricks will need an adult to explain how to carry them out. Maxx’s favourite trick is the dirty to clean toilet, what little boy doesn’t think toilets and poo are funny – he thinks it’s hilarious!

The products inside feel like great quality and despite already having lots of play and wear from James trying the tricks they all still look as new. It all guarantees horrified hilarity from your audience and is the perfect party set for Halloween or for any budding conjurer to practice some very original skills! I know as a kid I was always intrigued by magic and would wish I could learn some cool tricks to show my friends! Home Retail Group Card Services Limited is registered in England (04007072) at 33 Holborn, London, United Kingdom, EC1N 2HT.As we all know, despite trying very hard to monitor the appearance of all things gross and bottom-related, there’s nothing kids enjoy more, with the exception of making their friends and family even more disgusted.
