I for one enjoyed this fist part and will certainly continue on in this series, hoping to see many more dinosaurs up close! The dinosaurs featured are pretty accurately portrayed; lining up well with our current paleontologic information. I love that Kinoshita decided to set the story on Enoshima, a town near Kamakura about an hour's train ride from Tokyo - I've visited the island once before and being able to imagine the story taking place there just adds to the experience. are still prevalent in this timeline, with the characters and information signs working to dispel them.

And more importantly, how do you maintain funding for the park and generate public interest in a world that has grown bored of dinosaurs? Dino fans will probably enjoy the educational aspects as each chapter educates about a different creature. Domesticated Dinosaurs: Dinosaurs are kept as attractions at zoos and animal sanctuaries like Enoshima Dinoland. The series followed their times at Gamma Gamma, along with their subsequent career paths in the aquarium industry, and the obstacles and conflicts they encountered along the way. Long-time Dragon Ball executive producer Akio Iyoku shared the behind-the-scenes process for the upcoming series, Dragon Ball Daima.

The rest of us will probably let our minds wander as we read about good-intentioned caretakers doing their jobs thoughtfully and earnestly. Translation for the English version of this manga is by John Neal, with lettering by JM Iitomi Crandall.

The human characters are intriguing and fun, but not in a way that steals the spotlight from the dinosaurs, all of whom also have their own distinct personalities and quirks. It’s another chance for Suzume to shine as such a compassionate character, but also refreshing to see dinosaurs shown at all stages of life in this book, from the hatching earlier on to the very aged dinosaur here that has lost some of her vigour but is still full of character. If they continue with the commentary on the ethics of resurrecting extinct species and the struggles with keeping the money flowing into the park, I think I could be hooked.
