This is a list of home video releases of the 1981 television series Danger Mouse and its 2015 reboot. It was really popular in our house especially with my brothers and it seems the same was true in Mr Nine to Three Thirty’s childhood too, so it’s good to know that Danger Mouse is back.

With the help of their boss Colonel K ( Stephen Fry), the duo pit themselves against all manner of threats including battling a mysterious villain who releases a number of dangerous inmates from Arkwright Asylum and an evil princess attempting to erase weekdays forever.As ever, each episode opens in Danger Mouse's hidden hideaway (located under a post box "somewhere in Mayfair"), the furry Secret Agent duly receiving his instructions from spluttering boss Colonel K. Operating from a secret base in a post-box in London he can swing into action at a moment’s notice in his underwater flying car, with his faithful sidekick Penfold. Sheer inspired lunacy with the characters seemingly aware that they are in a tv show and can hear the narrator though it can feel a bit samey and predictable after a while.

A modern-day secret agent needs state of the art gadgets and luckily for DM, the ingenious Professor Squawkencluck has joined the team and has a gadget for every occasion, although how long they’ll stay in one piece in DM’s hands is another question…. However, the character of Stiletto has his original Italian accent, which was not used in US versions of the series.

I could run down all of the episodes here, but you`ll be asleep by the time I finish as there are so many of them! Some good old fashioned puns, some gentle humour and some very silly storylines make this a true classic. Still stands up after 30 years and lots of the jokes are for the grown up's so we're enjoying it again as adults.Featuring the voices of David Jason as our eponymous hero, and Terry Scott as Penfold, The Danger Mouse Complete Collection contains every episode ever made across all 10 series! Anyway, before I go off on a familiar rant about the state of TV today I`ll just say that if you like DM then one or more discs from these sets will be fine for you.
