About this deal

It is advisable to leave walls injected with DampSolve to dry for as long as possible, and for at least 14 days, before removing excess salts and commencing replastering. A low cost and low waste damp course cream package supplied in a 8 litre refill pack for damp proof contractors.

Dryzone DPC has revolutionized the DPC market for the control of rising damp for over 10 years, rapidly becoming the number 1 DPC product in the UK. Dryzone then diffuses before curing to form a continuous water-repellent barrier, preventing rising damp and creating a damp proof course. PermaSEAL PRO DPC Injection Cream features the highest possible concentration of active ingredients. High-Strength, High-Efficacy: Contains a high percentage of active ingredients for maximum effectiveness.

Dryzone DPC cream is injected by means of a simple applicator gun into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course. Nevertheless, with the right knowledge and products, it is fairly painless to remedy and in most instances need not be excessively costly.

You will need to remove all the damp contaminated plaster (it will be contaminated, even if it looks dry) and drill a series of holes in the mortar joints at 120mm intervals, ideally at 150mm above ground level. Once injected and diffused into the wall, The saline chemical contained in the fluid will line the capillaries of the wall forming a water repellent barrier.Internal plaster affected by hydroscopic salts is removed from the area to be treated to a height of 300mm above the maximum level of the Rising Damp. For this reason, Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream has been formulated to form an effective DPC in walls of all types and has been tested under more conditions than any other rising damp treatment on the market. Some properties, however, were built with no damp proof course, or the original DPC has failed, meaning that rising damp occurs and it is necessary to make remedial repairs. If internal floors are below external ground level, form trenches along the external face of the walls to at least 150 mm below the proposed DPC level (where foundation depth allows).
