About this deal

With all the death, re-animation of corpses, and local history lessons; Sue has to understand these clues by the end of her drive, so she can save herself and her daughter.

The narration was however first class hence the 2 stars I have given in sympathy for them in trying to breed life into the most ridiculous story.Buried in his past are secrets that were never meant to be found--and dark, dangerous men willing to kill to protect them. I'm going to keep this review short and sweet because I feel the next few sentences say it all about "Chasing The Dead" which I thoroughly enjoyed.

You get to see a lot of his background in the second story, but this one put things into a whole new, complete, perspective for me.I was a little bit tentative about this read, unsure what to expect, however upon starting it I was unable to put it down. Raker can be a bit of a frustrating character at times and there is certainly some extreme violence in this first book that more squeamish readers should be aware of - nonetheless, such a gripping read that I read the entire book (435 pages) in a day. Chasing The Dead is the first in the David Raker series, book two is Dead Tracks, book three is Vanished and the fourth, Never Coming Back is due for release in Sept 2013. Biography: Tim Weaver is the Sunday Times bestselling author of thirteen novels, including No One Home, The Blackbird and The Last Goodbye, and a short story collection.

At some point though I started to worry that it would turn into a paranormal story, so weird it was! Penguin presents the audiobook edition of No One Home, written by Tim Weaver, read by Joe Coen and Lorelei King. When Leonard Franks and his wife Ellie leave London for a dream retirement in Dartmoor, everything seems perfect. In a mixture of snow, tears, and blood; Sue has to follow precise instructions given to her by the kidnapper if she ever wants to see her daughter alive again. However, Henderson, Maryland is a gossipy town, and his wife Carole has grown suspicious of Joe's refusal to talk about his past.

Chasing the Dead" will grab your attention and force you to keep turning its pages until you have reached the end. You won't be disappointed, and the eerie apprehensive feeling won't stop you from shivering until you reach the final pages. EDIT: I noticed that the revolver was replaced with a M1911, seemingly, and that the scale of environmental assets was messed up in several places. I've read reviews of this book that were angry because they felt the supernatural elements came out of nowhere. The strange man on the other end of the phone line gave her specific and told her that if she got the police involved he would know, and he would kill Susan’s little bundle of joy right then and there.Missing persons investigator David Raker doesn't want the work: it's clearly a sad but hopeless case of mistaken identity brought to him by a woman unable to let go of her son.
