The Teacher" is a psychological thriller that you won't be able to put down, with cliffhangers at the end of every chapter. SP Nate continues with the soulmate talk to keep Addie hooked even though "it doesn't last long, and Nathaniel says that's normal when you like somebody as much as he likes me. Addie says she's not amazing at math and Hot Nate asks if his wife is giving Addie a hard time and then says a bunch of shit about how he was dumb at math too and his wife is too logical and not a dreamer like they are. Nate also teaches at the high school - English - and is the hottest hottie hot hot teacher at the school, based on a list made by the senior girls that another faculty member knew about and then shared with Eve? Gruesome deaths is an understatement, they are not terribly prolonged scenes but they leave enough imagery to put you off your lunch.TeachingBooks strives to enrich everyone's experience reading children's and young adult books with our original and curated literary resources. Yes it was a normal McTwist that had my head spinning but it just doesn’t work if you think about it. While digging, Eve remembers the poem SP Nate wrote her when she was fifteen and he was her teacher - and (McTwist! If I had to take a shot for every time she mentioned some kind of designer shoe, I would be in the ER with serious alcohol poisoning.

I enjoyed the storyline, a lot of characters are introduced and the time frames jump from past to present but it doesn't distract in any way. There's a crazy plot hole at the end with the car rides, too, but I won't give anything away with that. The stuck up math teacher, than we have the hottest English teacher eeeever, the mean girl, the outsider with a sob story. But as they’re drawn into a network of corruption, lies and exploitation, every step brings them closer to grim secrets hidden at the heart of their community.

The entire idea behind this story is one that I should have loved, unfortunately I ended up rather bored with the story fairly early on and found it just confusing to read.
