I re-strung the needle at least three times per flip flop, each time hiding the knot into the layers of ribbon so it would not show. Just remember to take care of the glue sandwiched in between the 2 layers of your sole so you don’t make a big mess. I normally push one length of twine through with no problems and then use curved ended tweezers to help push the other piece through.
