With each new revision, our devices get more and more expensive, and they also tend to last longer and longer. Now, I will warn you up front, it does take some effort to get the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield installed correctly. While it took me two tries to get it right, my application of the armoursuit protector looks perfectly invisible.

Since the shield is not tempered glass and since the film is fitted to protect the curved edges, the shield does not last as long as it’s tempered glass brethren. For some of the first adopters of the Microsoft Band 2 – those that have been owners since it released in October 2015 – the ZAGG has been a bit nightmarish. So how does the Armor Suit Military Shield for Apple Watch hold up against Allison’s success criteria? MilitaryShield has self-repairing technology, which helps eliminate minor scratches on the film all by itself. However, the one I applied in October when my Band 2 arrived is still installed without any sign of wear or curl.A lot of folks at the time the Microsoft Band 2 released suggested that Microsoft Band 2 wouldn’t need a screen protector with the upgraded Gorilla Glass.

The screen protector material doesn't bounce back after it's been dinged or scuffed unlike the hard plastic material that PowerSupport uses for it's iPhone screen protectors. Screen works great, and pretty hard on it considering how I use my phone and the stuff I get into while using it. But after seeing first-hand a couple cases where the glass already had spider-vein scratches from normal use, I didn’t want to take the chance.Just a light spray on the screen and then a light spray on the protector seems to do a better job at adhering to the screen and when you lay it down on the screen spray a small amount on the screen protector itself so the squeegee can move smoothly to take out any bubbles.

A few weeks ago on show 786 Alison shared her newfound love of the Diamond Dog tempered glass screen protector, even if the bubbles under the screen still vex her, so I thought I would share a review of a screen protector of a different sort. The Shield needs to set for approximately 15 minutes before adhering to the curved edges of the watch face. And according to the manufacturer, the shield is equipped with self-healing technology, which will help eliminate minor scratches and dings that the film may pick up over time.Screen has protected my phone well and when I did have an issue the company was great, very quickly responsive honored their warranty service.

Two: no bubbles under the screen without needing Dave Hamilton to pay you a visit to install the screen protector for you. The Bad News is that I was going walking outdoors and sprayed bugspray on myself and it kinda destroyed the protector a bit since it now has a slight hazy look. I can usually put up with the loose corner for another week or so before needing to replace the shield.

Mine does and I don't know if that will go away over the next few days (I applied it last night) or if the protector is defective or it's just how it is. If you are anything like me, the screen on your watch takes a greater beating than the phone and could definitely use some robust protection.
