About this deal

The execution is quite impressive though because numerous recognisable details are provided, including several which appear extremely briefly onscreen. That said, if you’re a fan of the Mandalorian, this is an easy set to recommend, thanks to the 3 minifigures, and how easy it is to display the set. The best thing they can do is at least be consistent going forward and keep Mando’s jetpack the same color as his helmet. The crates below serve as storage, and there is this silver blaster (neat) and Thermal Detonators, which are printed on 1 x 1 round tiles. Melding LEGO and Technic in the most ingenious ways, the build is especially challenging but rewarding, especially when you see the functions in action!

It features a Mudhorn logo over the entrance, detachable forge with a rotating exhaust hood and melting pot, Holocron, cool machinery, storage cabinet and assorted accessory elements including 3 beskar bars and a thermal detonator. There aren’t any gimmicky play features – although a fun feature would’ve been a “armour-changing” area, where you can transform Mando from his pre-Beskar armour to his fully kitted out version. Rewarding build, cool display A great addition to any Star Wars fan’s collection, this awesome construction toy is fun to build solo or with friends and family, and each of the buildable LEGO figures has a baseplate to create an eye-catching display. This time at least he comes with a dark metallic grey jetpack, to help differentiate him from his brothers. That is secured using clips and seats are included for two minifigures, where Din Djarin delivers his Beskar to the Armourer. The highlight of this set is no doubt the minifigures, so far this is the only set including The Armorer and Paz Vizsla.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. It’s the location where Din Djarin’s payment of Imperial-marked beskar is melted down and his new armour is forged. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Something to not overlook with the design here is how it is built at minifigure height – the Armorer can actually stand next to it and look reasonably in proportion to how she does in the show. Moreover, I think each minifigure could be substantially improved, even though the characters are appealing. It’s a minifigure-centric set, and in this department, it mostly does a fantastic job thanks to the 3 exclusive minifigures – Mando might not be truly exclusive as it’s the same version as the one from Trouble on Tatooine, but the addition of the Beskar jetpack helps set him apart.
