About this deal

This book is about everything we humans share – that this is the planet we live on, this the universe, these our fellow travellers, and death our destination. That much of our past is underneath us and we find our remotest ancestors by descending. That humanity is brief and yet, here in the Anthropocene, dangerously consequential. This nonfiction book worked on me like poetry, taking me somewhere beyond (or below) words – stretching me outwards and inwards, downwards and upwards, and into the future as far as it’s possible for mere humans to imagine. Profoundly philosophical, but vividly imagistic. One image that has lingered is of an infant buried centuries ago in the cradle of a swan’s wing. Javier Cercas: The Tartar Steppe by Dino Buzzati Cloaked in the identity of David Xavier, a billionaire player in multiple world theaters, Mike White Cloud worked to enter the Russian Mafia’s lair, by stalking a shadowy creature named "The Concierge." The Russian woman brokered young innocents into slavery, and Mike meant to destroy her and the organization she worked for. He should have despised her for the atrocious crimes she facilitated, but too often love and hate are the flip sides of the same coin, and what Mike felt for Taty was not hate. It didn't matter. He'd destroy the Bravata and all its associates--even if it meant part of his soul sat in prison for the rest of her life.

I love this series, it just keeps getting better and better! This book follows Cheif and Tatyana's story, Cheif is deep undercover trying to bring the bratva down, he is willing to do anything to make sure the mission is a success. Tatyana works for the bratva as a concierge doing deliveries, she's not very far up the food chain but is trying to make her way up so she can find out who is at the top.As Cheif and Tatyana are thrown together and sparks fly, it starts off as a way to get close to the other for information but soon feelings become involved. They both know the other is the enemy but don't fight the pull they have to each other, what will happen when the truth comes out? Will their hearts remain intact?He highlighted that a concerted effort is being made maliciously by inimical elements to target the armed forces. And the King said to Ashphaz, the High Eunuch, that he would bring some children of Israel, and some seed of the Kingdom, and some Parthians The king told Ashpenaz, his chief chamberlain, to bring in some of the Israelites, some of the royal line and of the nobility. Tatyana Petrov 'Taty' joined the elite MI6 and for the last 8 years has worked her way into the trust of the Bravata, striving to identify the human filth selling innocents to the rich as playthings.

There are those who maintain that the EU commission ought to have offered more concessions. One of Barwell’s interesting observations is that the commission “far from taking the most hardline position… was the closest thing we had to a friend, particularly towards the end of the negotiations”. The toughest lines were taken by the leaders of the member states. Contrary to the widespread and completely wrong perception that they would “come to our rescue”, it was Emmanuel Macron and his counterparts who repeatedly intervened to harden up the EU’s position. Their understandable priority was to protect the integrity of the EU and safeguard themselves from Eurosceptic parties in their own countries. At one summit, Merkel’s first question to May is: “What’s the price?” In other words, in what ways would the UK be worse off for leaving as a deterrent to anyone else doing the same. But surely, some of the fault for these problems could lie with May? Could a stronger boss have inspired better behaviour? If May was really so across the detail, how did Windrush go unnoticed? Then the king commanded his palace master Ashpenaz to bring some of the Israelites of the royal family and of the nobility, Tatyana is much more than she appears on the surface. She conducts trade for the Russians, but she has a singular end game in mind: take them down and finally avenge her sister's death at their hands. David Xavier is an enigma she must figure out before he derails her plans- or steals her heart. This man can go from a cold, calculating criminal in one minute to a generous benefactor of those in need in the next and then again to a sensual creative lover in the next moment. His intent to do business with the Bravata does not fit in with the rest of his personality at all and she desperately seeks out his motives in the hopes her gut is right so that she won't have to take him down in the end.

Then the king told Ashpenaz, the chief of his officials, to bring in some of the sons of Israel, including some of the royal family and of the nobles, Gavin Barwell has written a candid, valuable and insightful account of two hugely consequential years of history. Read it if you want to fully understand why we are where we are today. This may be a chronicle of failure, but it is all the more absorbing for that. Blessed with his Alpha team family, Chief will risk it all, and do what it takes to ensure the entire King family and his 'brothers' are safe from the threats of the Bravata. A year in the making and it's mission 'go'. Too bad, Chief didn't know it was his heart that would be the casualty of this war. The king spoke to Ashpenaz, the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring in some of the children of Israel, even of the royal offspring and of the nobles:

I always feel privileged when I receive an ARC copy. However like any reader there are authors I really look forward to reading. Kris Michaels is one of those authors. I always have high expectations from her book and so far she has never let me down. Once again she delivered. Then the king commanded Ashpenaz, his chief eunuch, to bring some of the people of Israel, both of the royal family and of the nobility, And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir delivers a speech at the passing out parade of the 147th long course of the Pakistan Army at the military academy in Kakul, on April 29, 2023. — ISPR

The ISPR called the PTI leaders “hypocrites” for inciting their workers against the armed forces on the one hand, and other, they were praising the military — in a bid to overshadow their criticism. The king spoke to Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring in some of the people of Israel, even of the royal family and of the nobles;And the king saith, to Ashpenaz master of his eunuchs, to bring in out of the sons of Israel, (even of the royal seed, and of the chiefs,) I enjoyed this story a lot. As it really drew me in and kept me engaged throughout. Although there wasn't much in the way of action, but what there was I did enjoy A comprehensive succession process begins when a candidate accepts the position and lasts for several months after his or her arrival. The outgoing CEO, the chief human resources officer, and the board should all have roles in helping the newcomer navigate company culture and politics. And the king spoke to Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;
