Inspired by local olive growers, Four Pillars have made an olive leaf and oil infused gin featuring rosemary, bay, corainder with a citrus nose of lemon and grapefruit. The stars of the show are Nocerella Olives and Basil, both of which are recognizable, but neither overwhelms the gin. In the commune of Avignon in the middle of the Rhône is the island of Barthelasse: the largest river island in Europe. It is made using three types of cold-pressed extra virgin olive oils and olive leaf tea from the world-class groves of Victoria's Cobram Estate. The gin may be made just outside Melbourne but by using botanicals like rosemary and bay leaf, it transports you to the Mediterranean. Textural and bright, Olive Leaf Gin uses three types of cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and an olive leaf tea from the world-class groves of Victoria's Cobram Estate. Botanicals like rosemary and bay leaf transport you to the Mediterranean (even though they’re from Cam’s garden), while native macadamia nuts and lemon myrtle make the gin distinctly modern Australian.

By combining botanicals such as olive leaf, oregano, lemon, grapefruit and juniper, we have created a London Dry that captures the spirit of a summer breeze. There’s also a helping of lemon and grapefruit in there too, but the focus here is most definitely the gin’s savoury elements.
