About this deal

This left a bad taste in my mouth and even though being 19 makes you a legal adult this felt grimy and like the author was trying to hyper-infantilize Persephone. After a compromise is reached she is allowed to venture out and be part of society as long as she is watched cared for and lives with another goddess. Lore Olympus è sempre una lettura comfort nonostante questo volume sia un po' di assestamento/transizione. Finally, I just want to gush for a million years about how fuckin' CUTE Perse and Cerberus are 😭 What a good boy! However, she quickly discovered the dark side of her glamorous new home--from the relatively minor gossip threatening her reputation to a realm-shattering violation of her safety by the conceited Apollo--and she's struggling to find her footing in the fast-moving realm of the gods.

This volume wasn't as painful as the first volume regarding Persephone's SA experience, but it did still reflect back on that in some ways, and my heart hurts for her every time it comes up.

I for one don't think they understand the underlying thoughts and feeling,s and how the story should be relayed, and are using their bias to tell their version of events. However, she quickly discovered the dark side of her glamorous new home - from the relatively minor gossip threatening her reputation to a realm-shattering violation of her safety by the conceited Apollo - and she's struggling to find her footing in the fast-moving realm of the gods.

She dreams of more and wants to experience the worlds but her mother keeps her away from all men and as such Persephone is depressed. Persephone and Hades must contend with fresh challenges to their burgeoning love in the fresh and funny second volume of the WEBTOON sensation which reimagines one of the most popular Greek myths in a vibrant contemporary setting.

Without spoilers, there are triggering incidents, however these are dealt with the greatest of respect.

an unforgettable and startlingly relatable epic that combines addictive storytelling, engaging characters, and a lush, unmistakable art style. Rachel Smythe has done an excellent job retelling the tale of Hades and Persephone minus the classic troubling abduction and incarceration, etc. Lo stile di illustrazione è letteralmente il mio preferito, ma d'altronde si sa che Lore ha un posto specialissimo nel mio cuore.
