This version is the same as the one included in the First 40 Years box set and only now becomes available as a separate release double CD. Recorded and mixed in two studios (The Boogie Town Studio in Otwock with Paweł Marciniak and in Serakos studio in Warsaw with Magda and Robert Srzedniccy), the album was mastered by Robert Szydło and produced by RIVERSIDE’s Mariusz Duda himself. As a matter of fact, All Traps on Earth is the name chosen by Änglagård's founding member and bassist Johan Brand for this project of his, involving keyboard player Thomas Johnson and drummer / percussionist Erik Hammarström from the same 'source band'.

Having said that, I would say this would have more in common with 'The Whirlwind' album [the band's third, from 2009] than others that we've created. With its comfortable fit, front pouch pocket, and double-layered hood, the hoodie is a classic streetwear piece that can be styled with multiple different looks. The swirling synths build to a crescendo as the other instruments fade away, then themselves begin to fade while a kind of industrial-sea sound builds, over which the sounds of children palying on a playground play out to the song's end. I bought a 2013 re-issue version with 3 interesting bonus tracks, separated from the main 7 songs by a silent gap.

This band, in this "Lightdark" are still finding out their own language, when they get there, they sound amazingly unique and worth the visit. After over 20 years since the last time we recorded together, the four of us stepped into the studio and it was as if no time had passed at all! Portnoy and Morse are frequent musical collaborators, having recorded more than a dozen albums together outside of TRANSATLANTIC, including three FLYING COLORS releases, three by THE NEAL MORSE BAND and seven Morse solo albums. We include three sections to enable targeting light colors, dark colors, and the colors selected based on the user's preferred color scheme. It compares well with Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" period: gorgeous Gilmour-like guitar phrasing, a fine selection of keyboard sounds played as if to paint a beautiful canvas and vocals that blend in seamlessly with the music.
