After ageing it is then filtered through charcoal resulting in a rum that is smooth, clean and light bodied with subtle aromas and a crisp, clean taste. There is a slightly more alcoholic kick on the way down and it's missing some of the higher notes but the base flavour is still there. A medium bodied, exceptionally smooth golden rum with a delicate and fruity bouquet and a hint of exotic spices.

Made at the Appleton Estate Distillery and crafted with adherence to the highest standards of rum production. This is the ideal blend of fuller-flavoured traditional pot-still and lighter character column-still rums, which are then matured separately in old Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey barrels before being hand-blended.
