The Halti dog training lead is made from soft padded material, which makes it very comfortable to hold. Alternatively, you can use the double ended lead in conjunction with the Halti for light, steering control or simply as a normal, every day lead. While the original Halti training lead comes in black and red, the newer version is now available in two-tone colours of lilac, grey, red and blue, as well as the original plain black and plain red. The lead is slightly padded for extra comfort and has a d ring at each end and then a ring in the middle to make the lead suitable for multiple use. The Halti harness applies the same principle as the headcollar but steers the dog from the chest rather than the head.
