What’s more, our maths resources will not only suit your children or pupil’s learning styles, but they’ll suit your teaching style, too! Here at Twinkl, we know how hard it can be to find high quality resources that slot neatly into your lesson plans.

In this feature, we bring together activities which make use of the geoboard or pegboard, which is a wonderful resource for developing children's understanding of properties of shape, area and angles. These colourful isometric geoboards are double sided with an 11 x 11 pin grid array on one side and an 11 x 11 triangular pin array on the other. First, choose your board type by tapping on the “array 10×10” button and selecting from the options.Use with the ATM book Exploring Area and Fractions with Square Geoboards, or other classroom investigation. These colorful isometric 9″ (23cm) square geoboards are double-sided with an 11 x 11 pin grid array on one side and an 11 x 11 triangular pin array on the other. Students are asked to place rubber bands around the nails to explore geometric concepts or to solve mathematical puzzles. They may have an upright square lattice of 9, 16 or 25 nails or more, or a circle of nails around a central nail.

The white boards are printed with a 3 x 3 square geoboard and can be written on and rubbed off enabling the class to experiment and try out activities on the geoboard.
