We think, frankly, it looks like it was made in someone’s shed on their 3D printer, but that’s not particularly relevant to its performance. In today's review, the EK-AIO 240 D-RGB watercooler will be tested against a massive number of competing coolers, including its larger sibling, the 360 D-RGB we reviewed previously.
The tubing has a nylon braided sleeve on it and runs to an approximate 350mm length which is kinda short length and should have been 400m or so in my opinion. EK Water Blocks has highlighted three key components of the cooler here; powerful pump, fans, and the efficient radiator. This is most relevant for air coolers or for coolers like the Arctic unit, which has a VRM fan, but it’s still interesting for standard liquid coolers. That means we’re now looking at the maximum average all-core frequency permitted by the cooler, because Precision Boost 2 is variable contingent upon temperature. So I wondered if EK-AIO Basic 240 would perform any different, but I can't seem to find any tests of it.
EK Water Blocks has removed the digital lighting from the fans and the block resulting in all black cooler which will definitely come in handy for the neutral/stealth builds.
Fantastic seller - the item was just as described but had an issue which the seller very promptly and courteously sorted. If you crank up the fans, we get chart-topping performance, and if we turn down the AIO's fans down to 600 RPM, we still see performance levels that match many rivaling coolers when running at their best. With a pump and radiator shipped pressure tested, it is pre-filled and sealed directly from the factory to provide maintenance-free operation for years. Easy enough process, and it’s the same between Intel and AMD, although obviously the spacing changes, and HEDT parts cut down to just the four standoffs without need of a backplate. EK is best-known for its open-loop liquid cooling components, as we show at CES every year in the company’s bombastic display of systems, but that’s a small market, and EK has been trying to get into closed-loop liquid coolers for years.

Have installed only 1 camera so far due to adverse weather but I'm very impressed by the night vision in particular. The series is equipped with a high-density water microchannel and copper finish block to offer efficient thermal conduction along with a proper radiator to maximize cooling performance.
