Before you use La Riche Directions hair dyes, please make sure to read the instructions and always perform a patch test. For more intensive coloring, cover the hair with a plastic cap or foil and let it work through a heat source. Directions semi permanent Dark Tulip colour can be mixed with each other for the most beautiful colours. Please note that Royal Mail currently classes perfumes, nail polishes, flammable liquids and aerosols as "hazardous materials" and will only accept a limited number of these per parcel.

When washing, please do not use conditioner shampoos and do not mix with peroxide All Directions colours are mixable. Optionally, if you'd like to avoid dye stains around the hairline apply a Vasaline or a small amount of baby oil, but don't let this get in your hair! The results will vary depending on your hair colour, hair type, the process and products used before dying. Gloves are just as necessary to keep your hands clean, and we have now started selling development caps too.

As with all dyes, please be aware that result may vary due to things such as hair type, colouring, condition of the hair etc. I used this dye on top of the faded dark colour, without bleaching and the result is gorgeously vibrant - a deep burgundy cherry red, more noticeable at the roots but definitely purply red throughout with lovely glints in the sunshine and under indoor lighting. p>3) Next apply the dye: Your hair needs to be clean and grease free before you start, so wash it with a PH balanced shampoo, but don't condition it as conditioner can stop the dye taking properly.
