Has a spiced-rum/cinnamon-whiskey vibe to it, which most people would associate with college binge drinking of cheap liquor I imagine. Now I bought it, some kind of fresh water, not long lasting at all, and the aroma is completely different. I know that this fragrance got a lot of hype but I am surprised that it doesn’t seem as high rated as I thought it would be on Fragrantica.

I understand where they come from, but honestly I think this would only cause issues if you also dress like one. The pepper, cinnamon and leather are so well balanced, while amber and benzoin play a supporting yet important cast elevating the whole scent profile. As some of my Gen Z friends stated in their reviews, this is absolutely not a fragrance for someone aged below 40 or so. My batch code is FOF22 which has a production date of June 2022, 10 months 5 days ago to be precise. After a couple of hours, I started to get irritated by the smell, and at one point, my nose started to get used to it. At the heart, labdanum resin smoothly rounds out the leather notes and creates an intense amber resonance. Bentley for Men Intense, by Bentley, made its debut back in 2013, a year I remember like it was yesterday.

I must be one of those who dispise baby powder perfumes, because this one is overpowering the rest of the mixture. sprays will project and last for many hours, and I really don’t think recommend to use any more than that. The notes you see are what it is, opens up loud and almost medicinal but it quickly balances itself with the rum and cinnamon that feels rich and classy, very soothing.
