These extenders fit most types of vests (only one of our French vests have different widths between the poppers). Vest extenders popper to the bottom of the baby vest and add approx 4 inches (10cm) to the overall length. You should expect a set to last around 2 years before showing signs of use (mainly some edgewear which doesn’t affect the use anyway).

You can of course put baby in a baby vest that is the next size up, but the issue with this is that the vest is then often very loose around the neck. As we know cloth nappies are slightly bulker than disposable so vests don't fit too great unless you size up. Please note that these extenders will not fit all brands of vests as they may have differing size poppers, but this size is the main size used by most High Street retailers.

They fit on almost all the vests I've tried, preventing the waste of resources and money replacing otherwise functioning (and some really cute) vests.

Even if you switch to one reusable nappy a day, you'll still make a financial saving while helping preserve the planet your baby will inherit.

Babies come in all different shapes and sizes so the above weight range should only be taken as an estimate. Vest extenders are also very helpful for the transition between clothing sizes - giving you flexibility and getting a lot more wear from baby’s clothing, saving you money.
