Most kids have blankies or stuffies they carry around, our kids have their "guy" each of my kids received their "guy" in the hospital. I can’t speak to how it is in a crib but it definitely is easier to find than the regular pacifier clips. Now I am a new aunt of 3 new babies and I have boughten each one of them one of these Snuggle nubbies. I gave it 4 stars because I felt like the stuffed animal piece wasn’t great quality, but everything else about it was great! It's silicone so my baby can chew on it when she's teething and it's also great because it comes with the cutest stuff animal that weighs it down so my baby can't just drop it when she's not using it.It very well trusted by my family, there sturdy and just adoreable with the little stuffed animal attached. However, she still continues to use the soothie without the pacifier because she just wants to suck on everything and she enjoys the elephant ears! Binkies attached to stuffed animals make them so much easier to find and for baby to manipulate themselves. The Philips Avent Soothie Snuggle is a great product that is different from what is available on the market today.
Nothing worse than a baby crying at 2 am or while in the car, only to not be able to find it ANYWHERE! Soothie features a unique shape that allows you to place your finger on the nipple to help your baby suck and bond with your little one, as well as a symmetrical shape that protects your baby's palate, teeth and gums as he/she grows. The soothie attached to the animal is the same kind the hospital gives to newborns so we knew it would be great quality. Our daughter adores her Lambie and helps instantly associate her with the Soothie Snuggle with time to sleep! My infant is one to go for her thumb more than a pacifier but with this avent soothie she seems to settle easier.The plush toy is compatible with all Philips Avent Soothies and pacifiers which can be swapped out and replaced with age appropriate soothies/pacifiers as baby ages. I love that this product can grow with my daughter because of the second attachment loop for a pacifier with a handle. It definitely isn’t one that we would bring out and about with us for fear of losing the pacifier, but it is cute for home use.
