About this deal

The film captures the essence of ancient warfare and the challenges faced by Roman soldiers in a hostile land.

What it’s about: The Portokalos family is one big happy family until Toula Portokalos (Nia Vardalos) falls in love with a man who isn’t Greek, Ian Miller, played by John Corbett, and the family has to come to terms with one another. of Jim Henson’s classic 1982 film brings the world of Thra to life in a way only a streaming service’s influx of cash can. In director Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar set in a dystopian future, humanity is struggling to survive on Earth and a team of astronauts is sent to look for other planets where they can survive. The prequel twist is cool in concept but fucking sucks in execution, there's outright flat screen TVs and shit in the barn game, and the flashback for Ryan which should take place in like the 70s has cars in it from fuckin' 2010 I'm pretty sure. Gaskell had originally written the book as a magazine serial and I’m assuming it had to meet a certain word count, so it does end up being, well, wordy.

Gordon twist is really sudden and not the best-executed (I bet it'd have been way cooler in the planned two movies though), but it was a fitting end for Hoffman who I've really liked and is probably a good reason why I like these later movies. The gorgeous Angelina Jolie transformed into Lara Croft, an adventurer who sets out to retrieve some ancient artefacts from the Illuminati in this action-adventure film. The sequels “ Ip Man 2,” “ Ip Man 3,” and “ Ip Man 4: The Finale” will also leave Netflix on the 21st. Netflix is going full steam ahead with its holiday lineup, most recently releasing the Freddie Prince Jr. Oh, how we loved the oh-so-nerdy Cecil played by Daniel Day Lewis and had all the heart eyes for Freddy. The Roman Empire, with its sprawling territories and iconic architecture, serves as a captivating canvas for filmmakers. I remember rolling my eyes a lot reading the book, but the movies just fill in more of the sensor stuff. I think in general, unless a movie is made from really mediocre text material and then is considered to be objectively much better, than whether a movie is better than a book comes down to a few factors. Okay, so the odd dropped Kirk zinger didn’t exactly tank the movie, but no director likes feeling gagged when it comes to gags. It’s not rocket science: The playful but profound film hinges on the tension between Evelyn ( Michelle Yeoh), a laundromat owner who has no time for fun or, it seems, her daughter Joy ( Stephanie Hsu).
