i'm not the biggest fan of friends to lovers but if you're going down that route, then i expect them to slowly go from two random people, to friends, to good friends, to something more. I opened my mouth to tell her all the many and dierent ways her idea could go sideways, but I stopped myself.edit: honestly, this book does not deserve my 'god teir books' shelf i think i got caught up in the moment - havent thought about this book since but it was a fun read! But just know this quick breakdown if you haven’t read it yet and wanna know if you should: both povs, sunshine H that is so, so romantic and has set the bar even higher, phrases that are in spanish that are really the most romantic shot ever. he’s flirty, funny, compassionate, protective, selfless, gentle (until he’s got you in bed), respectful, hot, gorgeous, yummy, sexy…ok i’m getting carried away. she literally created one of the most perfect fictional book bfs i’ve ever been blessed to read about, BUT it was the way she wrote in stupid shit that tried to make me dislike him at one point…the stuff that happened at the end just didn’t make sense to me? Picking up a little while after the Spanish Love Deception epilogue, Aaron and Lina are newly married and away enjoying their honeymoon, giving Lina’s best friend Rosie the perfect place to stay when she’s forced out of her apartment after the ceiling literally caves in on her.
