About this deal

I run the American Sound as a preamp into the power amp of my Bandit at home for practice and it gives me very inspiring BF Deluxe reverb-ish tones all day long. Could you please report the values of the components highlighted on the gutshot above, to check if it's a straight copy of the Blonde, or again a slight variation ? Then by chance I tried it out with my EHX 5MM power amp with a TC Electronic Spark Boost (4 knob) behind it.

I can see both sides of this'n and would hate to have to have been the person to render a decision in this matter. Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). Of course, anyone trying to use the ACTone through a normal guitar amp is probably going to be disappointed because the amp's own tone controls are going to compromise it. Overdrive 1 is voiced like the popular OCD stomp with a High/Low Peak switch while Overdrive 2 is more tube-style like the TS9 Tube Screamer. I think the reason they say they can be used with an amp is because many won't notice that the sound is being affected twice, by cab simulation, and the real thing! These matters are settled in the courts, and even when I don't agree with the court's decisions, I try to abide by them. Guitar Guitar Limited trading as guitarguitar acts as a credit broker not a lender and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm registration number 742103. I got a Wampler Thirty Something and tried it out recently into the front end of several amps and also the club PA.

Level and drive controls add incredible range, while the 3-band eq offers even more flexibility when it comes to getting an original sound. Ammoon combines these three essentials into one multipurpose floor unit: the Tone Bus + Power Supply. I still think if you have a nice valve amp, then why not modify the speaker out socket to a line out, I have done this and get an incredible recording sound. If any of us, as an individual, determines that a given product is not one they wish to support, I think we can understand that as well and, hopefully, both sides will see fit to exercise their individual consciences without criticizing those that see things differently. Maybe I didn't play around with these enough to find the sweet spots, but I did not like what I heard. It's not true-bypass, but you don't care because the opamp before drives your signal with an appropriately low impedance. They say if you want to use them into PA's and recording software interfaces etc you would be best using a cabinet simulator pedal to get best results. The top boost amps do sound great and the new models of the A/C 30 don't sound like those old ones so if you have one hold onto it.

So I've talked in other threads about running my SansAmp Tech 21 Blonde pedal as my direct-to-PA amp for my worship guitar work up at our church. No need to de-solder them, I found in-circuit measure to be not so inaccurate for most interesting components. The JF-13 AC Tone also features a three-band EQ for precise and flexible tone shaping, plus it features a Voice dial that opens up even more sonic possibilities. This configuration should be more versatile than the proper Liverpool : you can still cut the bass, but not obliged to.

Disclaimer : This is an attempt to recreate my previous posts in the "Character Series" thread that were lost in the server move. Just looking to add Vox chime to the clean signal, not looking for Brian May distortion or anything like that. Featuring endless controls, bypass wiring and components of only the highest quality, the pedal can put in more than a hard day's work.

All that being said I've never used a pedal or a modeler or an amp that sounded like a Real 60's vox amp. I want to try to add a switch for the speaker sim bypass though, and as this is my first muck-about with SMD, I think I'll go and practice on some old PCI cards I have lying about first. The quilter is great and includes 25 watts of amplification (as loud as a tube amp) besides a direct out.

Like I said, it's a fantastic unit and does everything else well, but it's not what you want for your intended purpose, IMHO. Just a bad practice to use the consumer either by playing on their weekness( no money) or someone else's name. The ability to emulate with programmable devices (microprocessors, dedicated chips, etc) has only clouded these already murky waters. If you just need a clean and dirty version of an amp, and use mods, delay, and reverb after the "amp", then the FS06 is a great option. Once upon a time I never imagined I'd say this, but it's so close to an AC30 and there's such a wide variety of tones available that I don't miss the amp at all.
